Keston Park Family Villa

Outside this wonderful villa has he Tudor house spirit with its typical red bricks and the introduce of glass for use in window frames, however, as soon as entering  in, one is impressed by  furniture in glossy finish, shiny brass metals, antique mirrors on the ceilings, silk thick carpets and pastel colors.

While developing the design concept here, we, from Marmeh Ltd., were led by the client’s requirement to work mainly with English companies, looking for a traditional English style as a result, and which in turn had to be unconventional and innovative.

Comprising over three floors, with two garages, a spacious private garden and an indoor swimming pool this project became a real maturing for Marmeh Design.

The open kitchen on the first floor is from a leading English company. The centrally located island has a high bar to relax at – all covered with solid dark oak wood - and a working place, where even the most skillful chef could show what is capable of.

The dining room for eight is separate from the kitchen area with sliding doors. Here one can enjoy handmade bespoke De Gournay wallpapers on the walls and big twin oak cabinets, which preserve a silver cutlery collection carefully covered by velvet and displayed in bespoke made drawers.

The swimming pool is serviced by a separate changing room, equipped with mahogany dressing table and has separate shower, finished with Lucian Metallics tiles.

Rare Brazilian Verde Tropicana marble covers all the floors in the pool area together with the changing room where it turns into Belgium Black marble combined with Misty White caps to create a traditional English checkered floor.

A period plasterwork have been maintained throughout and integrated with a modern interpretation.

The complete makeover of the initial interior of this house also includes the design of a new staircase with curved shapes, making the connection with the second floor softer and more harmonic, finished in natural wooden balustrades combined with messing railing.

Located on the first floor are also the light spacious living room and separate library, where is exhibited the owner’s rare book collection, as both living room and the library are equipped with rare white marble traditional fireplaces.

Situated on the same floor is also a cigar room for the gentleman of the house and his close guests, where, relaxing after a long day, one could enjoy a selection of wines and top-brand alcohol, as well as a wide variety of cigars.

It is especially for the owner’s  collections that Marmeh company designed a mechanized bar with an elevator and luminescent light, humidor with separate sections for all the accessories and two refrigerators with glass windows to show the selected wines.

Located on the second floor are the master bedroom accompanied by the spacious bathroom with nooks for “her” and for “him”, as well as the dressing table, all covered by natural marble Portoro Gold, combined with German silver for the cabinet’s doors. The accent of the room definitely belongs to the cast iron “Peace and Plenty” fireplace.

Following the shape of a carpet, displayed on the floor are Statuario Venato with Calacata Extra marble, and the shower area  finish is by book matched Paonazetto marble.

The access to the master closet, decided in lacquered mahogany with burr, is easy and convenient.

Together with the master bedroom, on this floor are also the two guest bedrooms, each of them with a comfortable and spacious bathroom.

Situated  on the third floor of this magnificent villa are the SPA area and private cinema room.

The area for relaxation offers steam room, sauna and bath tub in silver leaf finish, where one can escape the British rainy days and indulge into pleasure.

Marmeh Design did not abandon its style here either, and counted on natural marbles – Pink Pearl mixed with Bluette .
